Summary

In this episode of The Mike Litton Experience, we’re joined by financial industry veteran and transformational coach Gary Sinderbrand, whose journey from early career setbacks to becoming a nationally recognized leader in advisor development is nothing short of extraordinary.

Gary shares how he went from losing over $17,000 in his first year as a financial advisor to training more than 10,000 financial professionals across the country. He opens up about the mistakes that taught him responsibility, the mentors who believed in him, and how he leveraged relationships—not just products—to build a thriving practice.

We also dive into his AI-powered app for financial advisors, which uses behavioral psychology and archetyping (Carl Jung-style) to align FAs with ideal clients. If you’re in finance, coaching, or sales—or just someone who values connection over commission—this conversation is for you.

✅ What you’ll learn in this episode:

  • How to recover from failure and build lasting client trust

  • Why connection matters more than selling in financial services

  • The secret to scaling your practice through aligned relationships

And he explained to me, he goes, look at the last 10 relationships you opened. And they were

pretty substantial six figure relationships. And I liked them a lot. And the first 10 or 20 I'd

opened were smaller, but people that I didn't really feel aligned with.

I went through six interviews because I didn't fit any of the molds.

And, you know, figured, well, I'll give it, give it a try and it doesn't work. I'll go back and see

if I can go fly planes. Did you know there's a technology that's actually an app on your phone

that uses sound waves to tell your brain what you want your brain to do? We had a young man that
