Juliet, for our listeners who may not know

before we get into kind of some of the things,

because this was a big Fox Newsweek,

I guess why we're really excited to talk,

but those of our listeners who don't know,

how did you get into this and kind of what what is really at the heart of

decoding Fox News? Well I accidentally started researching the proud boys before anybody knew who

they were. The fringe, covered extremism knew who they were, but that was it.

And no one else took them seriously. Only the journalists who were dedicated to covering

extremism took him seriously.

And I ended up capturing all four hundred and seven episodes

of the Gavin McInnis show,

he's the founder of the Proud Boys,

and I acted as an anonymous unpaid researcher

for a few years there just because I hated extremism

and hated what he was promoting. And then that sort of led to me getting into journalism and
