As Milton began its final approach toward Florida on Wednesday night,

virtually the entire state was hunkered down.

Oh, there it was!

We've just seen one of the largest evacuations in Florida's history,

and anyone who was left was told,

please stay inside.

Stay inside and stay off the roads.

Flood waters and rushing storm surge are very dangerous.

That included emergency crews. It's just too dangerous for them to be driving around looking for people in the storm.
