Terms Learned in This Episode:

• Pollinator: A creature that helps spread pollen, which helps plants grow.
• Lookout Perch: A landing spot, often a branch, where a hummingbird repeatedly lands to rest or scan an area for food resources.
• Torpor: When a hummingbird goes into a deep state of rest. It can lower its body temperature by around 50 degrees F or 28 degrees C and is unresponsive as it saves energy.
