Lou and Greg in the house. Obviously it's an open-ended question and we'll hopefully go through some of the points about how far you should hit the seven iron. I've got some data based on Lou's done the data. I've just got it. I did a video on it, so I asked him for it.

So indexes, how far different indexes hit their 7-iron.

And anyone listening, you could use this as some kind of benchmark.

Don't remember in all these numbers that we're going to call out, you could easily be a scratch handicap of hitting it way longer than this or way shorter. Like there's always going to be outliers and they're the ones always put their hands up and say, this is silly because I hit my seven down this far and I play off this handicap. That's fine. But for lots of golfers who are thinking, like, do I hit my clubs far enough?

Am I in the right distance?

It might give you some benchmarks to work off and give you some ideas of where they should go.

So I'm just going to go with average yards hit per index to start us off.

And I'll do it as a little game for you, Greg, because I think Lou knows the answers.

If we start with a scratch handicapper, how far do you think they hit on average their seven iron? A hundred and 160 yards. Really good guess. So Greg guess is 160 yards

and the answer on average is 158 and the medium is 160 yards.

Boom.

175 to 180-ish depending on conditions.

So again, that shows as well.

That kind of follows some of the pattern because as we go on, if we go to a 10 index, so Scratch was 160, 10 index is there,
