0:56.0	Let's start with some pandemic news.
0:59.0	Last week, we saw the results of the antiviral that is being tested from Pfizer.
1:07.0	And it showed really extraordinary results. This is a pill you take within five days,
1:13.0	once more than one pill. It's a handful of pills you take for a few days, beginning within five days of diagnosis.
1:18.0	And the results were that in the placebo group, I think 16 people died who didn't take the pill and nobody died who took the pill.
1:28.0	And hospitalizations were greatly reduced.
1:31.0	And so it's called a protease inhibitor. It basically stops the virus from multiplying.
1:35.0	And if it really works the way it looks like it may work, it really will change the whole course of the disease.
1:42.0	I mean, it could make COVID eventually soon something that is just not lethal.
1:48.0	Really interesting, really important.
