but first chelma i want to talk about the news of the week how are you feeling about dris

it kind of came out of the blue for me me too i wasn't expecting't expecting that. I mean, I loved Virginia Smith art colleagues, wonderful story about, it was kind of a love

letter to Dries and all the moments in her life where she'd worn Dries and those dresses

that she went back to again and again.

And it's so funny.

I remember, actually, I think close to when you started, there was an amazing Dries

collection and you had a lot of really great pieces from that collection. And it's just like...

I sort of wanted to write a piece about like how Dries Vendon made me feel like I could belong at Vogue. Because I feel like when I started 15 years ago, I bought like two Dries things and they were totally my armor and made me feel like I could sort of do anything.

But people really, I feel like there was like a pall over the 25th floor at One World Trade on

Tuesday when it was announced. And it's interesting to see, I don't know any designer who

so consistently is purchased full price by Vogue editors.

Yeah, same.

Also, the sort of range of tastes and aesthetics, you know, he seems to appeal to so many different people.

Yeah, I really did love that spring collection with all the florals.
