Hey, this is Julie. Welcome again to the podcast. I was just thinking when I was little, do you remember when you were little and the holidays came about and you were like, wow, the excitement, the anticipation of the holidays. It was like there was nothing more special or exciting in your life than December and nothing could be the heart palpitations

of Santa and the food and family. Now that I'm on the other side of it, orchestrating everything.

1:34.5

Busy, busy, busy, busy. I'm so successful. Nothing ever got finished. I thought more goals meant more

1:40.9

success. What it actually meant was more pressure. And in reality, it meant more

1:47.5

self-judgment. And that equated to less self-joy. A lot of less joy in my life. And I wondered why,

1:57.9

Success, success, success, getting those diplomas, getting all those accolades, making that money, ringing those bells. And I wasn't happy. I wasn't feeling that joy. So this year I did something radically different. I chose one personal goal and one professional

goal. Not because I lack ambition anymore, but because I finally understand how energy works.

2:27.1

Today we're talking about how to start this year intentionally and not frantically.

I hope I'm not alone in this journey because this episode truly
