With just days to go before the midterm elections, millions of Americans have already cast

their vote.

And in some states, there are reports that turnout is greater than it's ever been.

A lot is on the line, including control of the House and Senate and the extent to which

President Joe Biden can fulfill his agenda.

But that's not all that's at stake.

According to a joint intelligence bulletin obtained by ABC News, the Department of Homeland

Security, the FBI and the National Counterterrorism Center have issued a warning about a heightened

threat of domestic violent extremism during the midterm elections due to perceptions of

election fraud.

And these perceptions could in turn be shaped by another phenomenon in states across the

country.
