I used to sit around with my brother and draw pictures of people with different colored hair.

Sapphire blue, hot pink, lime green, neon orange, and then we'd talk about what color

hair we'd want.

I want blue hair to match my eyes. It'd be spiky and short and like turquoise.

And me, I wanted orange hair to match my orange pants and the shirt I'd painted with a big orange explosion on it.

Orange was my favorite color.

If you could turn your hair any color in the world, what would you choose?

Definitely purple.

I gotta go with hot pink.

A beautiful grass green all the way. There are a couple

different ways to get the rainbow locks of your dreams. Number one, wigs. You can get wigs in every

color under the sun and they change your look in a snap. Another way is hair dye. There are lots of

temporary dyes out there as well as more

permanent ones. But something I've always wondered is, how do these dyes work exactly? One of our

listeners had the same question. My name is Mira and I'm from Philadelphia. And my question is,

how does hair dye work? So I've dyed my hair a lot of times I've dyed it with permanent hair color as well as with temporary hair color.

At the moment I actually have purple hair.
