0:19.0	you about a woman who had to socially distance herself for 12 years.
0:24.3	I mean, just imagine that.
0:25.3	Imagine the isolation, the loneliness.
0:28.8	And in her case, there was shame.
0:30.8	You see, she had a certain medical condition and that's what made her ostracized
0:34.3	from her community so she couldn't come close to anyone, no social interaction for 12 long
0:40.4	years. You know this woman. You know her from the Gospels. She had a persistent
0:45.4	hemorrhaging for 12 years and one day she sees Jesus and she says if I just
0:50.0	reach out and touch his garment I shall be made clean, and she touches Jesus, and immediately
0:54.7	her hemorrhaging stops. But did you know she's not fully cured yet? And this is what I want to focus on in today's
1:02.1	episode.
1:03.1	That the real healing Jesus wants to do isn't just to heal her physically.
1:07.7	He wants to heal her at deeper levels.
1:09.7	He wants to heal her socially so that she can be restored to her community, restored into friendship
1:15.1	with others. He wants to heal her emotionally. He says to her, go in peace. Jesus
1:19.9	wants to give her the gift that he says the world cannot give a deep abiding peace in her
1:25.8	heart and he wants to heal her spiritually. He calls her daughter. He says
1:30.1	daughter go in peace inviting her to be a part of the spiritual family of disciples, the
1:34.8	supernatural family of God, he's establishing.
1:38.0	You see what Jesus does with this woman, he wants to do with all of us, he wants to
1:42.3	heal us at the deepest levels of our existence.
