0:42.3	And what I think about this is really like how to develop your own sound. I mean, it's
0:47.4	hard to know what your sound is in relation to jazz, you know, as a whole. But I think
0:52.9	there are ways that we can develop a unique sound.
0:56.3	You know, for me, sound is personality. And I practice so that I can get as close to my actual
1:01.6	personality in the music as I can, even if no one likes me.
1:07.8	You know what I mean? Even if you have a terrible personality. You still want to get that into the music.
1:12.6	At least you're being you.

1:14.6	No, but, you know, that's how I think of a sound.
1:16.2	I mean, the technical things of sounds on instruments are very important, but those are all
1:20.1	choices reflecting your personality.
1:22.7	Well, that's weird because I think that you're, I love your sound at the piano.
1:26.2	I love your sound compositionally.
1:27.8	I think you have a horrible personality, actually.
1:29.9	So you somehow haven't matched up at all.
