So we've received this question a lot over the years.

It's a phrase you see and you hear all the time,

Bay Area. But what does it mean?

You know, having grown up in the Bay Area, my concept is kind of what they discuss on the news. The official definition is the nine

county definition. That's Kristen Goldthorp of Fremont. She asked a question and

she asked it because she and her nephew Chase Osterman have been fighting about it.

So if you are in an area where you see someone or I consider that Bay Area, if you have a bridge,

if you get fog because fog is from the bay and that's

bay area. For a chase Pleasanton is not the bay area because you can't see the bay

from there which some people would find
