I'm Nico Gonzalez Whistler.

Um. I love being Gonzalez Whistler.

I love being one of the people who helps make the shows in the brains on universe. It's honestly kind of a dream job. But it's not what I thought I would do when I was growing up. For a long time,

I really wanted to be a veterinarian. I even started my own pet sitting business, so I could practice taking care of my neighbor's

dogs and cats and guinea pigs.

Then I thought I would open a bookshop, a place where I could sit and read all day long.

And then, in the fourth grade, my class took a field trip to the planetarium, and I became

obsessed with becoming an astronaut

at NASA.

I mean, how cool would it be to ride in a rocket and float around a space station and see

a gillions of stars and wave to all my friends back on Earth?

But by the time fifth grade started, I was set on something else.

I still sometimes wonder what my life

would have been like had I decided on one of those other jobs. If I were an astronaut, would I be in

outer space right now? What does it take to become a NASA astronaut? Blake was wondering the same thing.
