Hello and welcome to another episode of T-RX Talk. This is a podcast-clusive episode, and we're

0:06.6

going to be talking about gun culture 3.0 specifically, or maybe gun culture 4.0. I'm already

0:13.5

losing track of the stuff that we covered in last week's episode, which was on gun culture 1.0,

0:19.1

people who owned guns, but mainly thought of them for sport or for hunting,

0:23.6

maybe, maybe a revolver for personal defense, a shotgun in the closet for home defense, and that

0:30.7

was kind of it. And then gun culture 2.0, not just the hunting and home defense and the

0:35.4

personal defense, but also a public defense as well.

0:39.9

And then 3.0 gun culture is kind of where a lot of people are today.

0:44.4

Not everybody.

0:45.4

Gun culture 2.0 is still very prevalent on the internet.

0:48.5

And I think we should all be really grateful for that.

0:50.9

But gun culture 3.0 is more people who are, they're moving to the next

0:55.4

step. They're 3D printing their own guns. They are learning to use night vision and thermal. They're

1:01.0

coordinating with off-grid communication technologies and using drones and digital radios to gather

1:07.3

intel, stuff that we've kind of talked about on previous episodes of this podcast

1:11.9

or the T-Rex live stream. One way that you could break it down, I suppose, is that gun culture

1:16.8

1.0 was interested in the ability to shoot. Gun culture 2.0 was interested in the ability to

1:22.9

shoot and move, and gun culture 3.0 is a little bit more capable of the whole shoot, move, communicate

1:29.6

package. Although that's kind of unfair, because like I said last week, one of the great things to come

1:35.3

out of gun culture 2.0 is a huge amount of ability to communicate information about why guns,

1:41.6

and why Gun Culture 2.0 specifically. Gun culture 2.0 was largely more about

1:47.9

principles, the principles of self-defense and what the Second Amendment was actually good for.
