I think that the way players will look at this and I cannot speak for guys.

It's just a guess is not that they don't like J.J. McCarthy.

I never got that sense from anyone.

No one ever said anything in the locker room that made me think on, off the record, whispered, wink that me at me or Kevin Seaford or anybody else that suggested they did not like J.J. McCarthy or didn't think going into the

season that it was going to work for him or whatever. They did. They did. I think they all felt

like as the season went on, this is just a kid. This is just what happens with rookies and jeremiah surils has said on

the show before like freaking rookie because rookies young players don't have the amount of

knowledge or experience or scar tissue to deal with the things that come along in an

NFL season.

I think we saw that from J.J.

McCarthy.

And then the injuries really stunk for him too.

I think everyone felt bad for him that he wasn't able to be out there for a full season.

And I still think that had he been out there for a full season, if you get one more win,

if you can grind one out in Pittsburgh where that Pittsburgh offense was, you know,
