What? No, not bears. I'm talking about my forearms. They've been hidden in winter sweaters for months.

Time to come out, big guys.

It's also time for me to start planting the brains on garden.

I've got the whole thing mapped out.

Hmm, carrots over here. oh, kale down yonder,

this section here for tomatoes, peppers,

oh and Mark spicy peppers,

mm-hmm, gotta have those.

Here we'll do eggplant, which sadly do not hatch, no matter how long you sit on them.

Oh, try mushrooms.

That's right.

I wanted to plant mushrooms this year.

Um, where do I get mushroom seeds? You know I've never seen them in my

seed catalogs. Do mushrooms even have seeds? My pal Nadine was curious too. How do mushrooms grow if they don't have seeds?

So mushrooms don't have seeds, but they have something called spores and they're similar to seeds.
