Maybe you'd say it as, if you get it from a top performer, you would say the glass is mostly full and in this case maybe

you'd say for a poor performer or somebody who you wouldn't have expected this question from and so that's

part of the reason you're all in your eyes like seriously dude you're not a self-aware

enough to realize you're not going to get promoted anytime soon unless you have a conversion on the road to Damascus or something.
