I'm Lee White. And I'm Will Terry. And all three of us are professional illustrators. We've all illustrated for all the major publishers in the business.

Together we published somewhere around 75 children's books and we've all illustrated for all the major publishers in the business. Together we

art schools. That's right. Each week we come at you guys with different listener questions or

sometimes fantastic interviews depending on which week it is. Sometimes we agree. Sometimes we argue,

but each time you're

going to learn something brands, spanking new. Very good. All right. First question comes in from Sarah.

She asks, uh, here's the subject. Don't know where I fit and I want to do too much all at once.

Do you guys ever, is that stuff familiar? I, no, no, no, I'm focused and streamlined and everything goes well.

Yeah.

So we're going to be answering this from experience.

She says, I'm starting my career as a freelancer, barely starting.

I'd love to do both illustration and animation work, motion design oriented.

In general, I'd love to do a lot of things,

but I know that especially when starting out, I need to focus on one market and go with that

one. Early on, I thought I wanted to do children's books, but now I'm not so sure. I still

want to do editorial work and illustrate books, but maybe not for children. I'm kind of wandering

around, not really knowing where my style fits best as of now.
