Summary

4 Steps to Overcome the Fear of Failure in your Teacher Business

To quote one of my faaaaaaaavorite YouTubers of all time, Whitney Simmons, “it’s a beautiful day to be alive…” and I’ll also add, “Even with the fear of failure looming in the background.” That’s right: failure. Friends, it’s inevitable. At some point, you will need to overcome the fear of failure if you want to succeed. If you decide to try your hand at making extra money as a teacher, you will, at some point, fail. I certainly did in the beginning! Because every step of the way you’re faced with new obstacles to overcome and new questions that, well, Google just can’t answer. Unfortunately, what people get wrong is that they assume that their failures define their success. But the truth is, the way you fail or how badly you fail has absolutely NOTHING – and I mean nothing – to do with if and when you’ll succeed.

How the fear of failure can catalyze a new way of thinking

It doesn’t matter how bad you suck at making extra money online. It doesn’t matter how big your fear is or how embarrassing a failure might become. Really, all that matters is what I’ll share with you on today’s episode. Today, I want to share with you a true story about failure that happened to me not so long ago. I want to share how I first perceived the moment and how I see it now. So stick around, pull up a chair, pour your favorite beverage, and get ready to hear how I turned what I thought were lemons into lemonade…I ‘ll even share my biggest trick on how to make extra income online as a teacher, especially in today’s day and age.

In this episode, you will learn:

  • How to overcome the fear of failure by reprogramming what your idea of failure is
  • To overcome fear of failure, start by falling in love with the process, rather than the outcome
  • How your fear of failure can be thwarted with one simple question
  • Why all of fear of failure books boil down to finding your why

is failure, our scariest F word ever. But it's inevitable.

failures define their success, that what they did wrong will ultimately

that way? I know I sure did in the beginning stages, but staying up trying to make things right or
