It's not something I'm really looking forward to, but in January, I turned 60 in January.

Yeah, thank you.

That was like one pity clap.

Bummer for you. You're right. That's exactly how I feel about it. Thank you for reminding me.

But because I'm almost 60, I've been paying extra attention to newsworthy stories and things that are happening to people in their 60s and beyond.

And I recently came across a story about a couple who just so happens to have been celebrating their 60th birthdays at the same time.

And so they decided to go out on a 60th birthday dinner date,

and they were at a very nice restaurant, and they were eating, and all of a sudden, out of nowhere,

a birthday genie appeared. And this birthday genie appeared and said, hey, happy birthday to both of you. I would like to give each one of you one birthday wish.

Like a present of your heart's desire.

And the genie said, ma'am, why don't you go first?

And so the wife said, well, my heart's desire would be to travel the world.

And poof.

And the smoke settled.

And in her hands were two unlimited airline tickets.

And the birthday genie looked over to the gentleman,

and he was a little bit embarrassed.

It was kind of hanging his head in a little bit of shame.

And he said, well, my heart's desire is to be married

to a woman 30 years younger than me. And poof. And the smoke cleared, and he was 90 years old.

Now, I don't, I don't know about you, but here's what I know about myself as I've gotten older.
