And I'm so excited y'all to get into the word today and I pray that it encourages you. I pray that it leads you to go to the Lord with questions.

Go to the Lord in his word and just deepens your desire to know him more by the power of his spirit. I love y'all so much and I'm just so stoked. So friends, faith comes by hearing that is hearing the word of Christ that is hearing the word.

So let's grab our headphones and let's get into the word.

So I have recently been obsessed with Winnie the Pooh and Piglet and I've loved getting to go to Pinterest and honestly just Google and look up their conversations and look up quotes that they said.

And it's so fun and honestly so uplifting and refreshing to read.

And I found this conversation that Piglet had with Winnie the Pooh recently and Piglet asked Pooh like whenever he wakes up in the morning, what's the first thing that he says to himself.

And Pooh gives his response and I don't remember what it was. It was something along the lines of like like something about honey or breakfast or something.

But then Pooh or but then Piglet says something that I've honestly been thinking about for the last few weeks.

Piglet says I say when I wake up in the morning, this is what I say to myself, I say I wonder what's going to happen exciting today.

Friends, okay, this is literally so simple, but sometimes I think that the simple things have such depth and can so easily be looked over and pushed aside and we grow numb to the simple things because we think that because they're simple, they've lost their influence and their and their power to encourage us into inspire us.

And actually I think sometimes like whenever we sit and take the time to ponder over the simple things like it can actually be really encouraging and like just powerful.

And so I wanted to show this simple thing just to kick off the podcast. This isn't even what our this topic is on today. But hearing Piglet say like I wonder what's going to happen exciting today.

Like what a sweet perspective to see each morning as an opportunity for surrender for excitement and for expectancy and the presence of the Lord.

Friend, I just encourage you today to surrender to his guidance, surrender to the word of the Lord may his word be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path.

I pray that you would have be and be filled with excitement for who God is and you would be filled with expectancy for where he wants to take you today, what he wants to tell you and who he wants you to cross paths with.

And the beauty that he wants you to see like God has an adventure and store for you today.

And the fullness of joy is found in his presence. And so how cool would it be to wake up in the morning and just be filled with excitement for what God has.

What is one thing and this is just something for you to think on something for you to write down just acknowledge there's power and acknowledgement.

What is one thing that you're excited for today like because I truly believe that it's not a matter of if something exciting will happen today.
