me, you know, because it's just one of those, oh, he's just got to get through the middle of the

week and then it's down hill from there. Oh, you know, I don't know, I'm not going to pick on

anybody if you've ever made a hump day post. Please, I'm not stepping on your toes, but my gosh,

there's more to it than that. We're not just trying to slog through the week, bite our lip, bite the

old stick, make it through the Friday afternoon, you know, two scenes come to mind. Joe, I grew up with

my granddaddy was a huge John Wayne fan. You ever seen in John Wayne movies? Yeah, I knew you,

Joe's getting closer and closer to 60 Madison, the assistant producer over there has no idea who

John Wayne even is. So you notice I didn't ask her. But the John Wayne movies, there's always two

things that John Wayne or somebody in his movies were doing to deal with the pain. One was give me

the shot of whiskey and it was like liquid fire and they throw it back and grimace kind of like,

oh, that's going to get me through the next hour. Bite and then the other one was a stick.

You know, they got a bullet wound and they got to dig it out with the giant knife. You know,

this is like these movies were made in the 50s, you know, 50s and they would always have some guy

bite down on a stick, you know, this is what a lot of Americans are doing every day. This is going to,

I'm going to wash it down with whiskey, baby, or I'm going to bite the stick to get through.

And, you know, look, I got no problem with the the shot of whiskey, but if the shot of whiskey is
