Answering those questions and make you go um, um, um, moment of um, moment of um comes to you from APM Studios. I'm Sand and Totten.

Um.

Every year, I hire a professional photographer to take a series of carefully planned, highly choreographed, completely

candid photos of me. You know, like photos of me looking a melting ice cream cone and laughing

as I walk down the Santa Monica Pier. Or me leaning against a weathered split rail fence

looking thoughtfully into the distance.

Totally natural situations that I find myself in all the time.

Then I print wallet-sized copies of these photos and I give them out to my 300 closest friends

so they can take me with them wherever they go.

Aren't they lucky?

This year, I really wanted to switch things up.

You know, maybe try a new type of lighting.

Oh, or a fresh camera angle that captures yet another facet of my amazing personality.

But I can't decide.

You know, I bet if I knew how cameras worked, I could plan the most stunning photo shoot ever.

How do cameras take photos and videos?

Cameras are like eyes.

My name is Tiffany Tici, and I am a mechanical engineer.
