How did you initiate the peaceful breakup and at one point did you get in touch again?

0:36.8

Oh, well, we've discussed that already, haven't we?

0:40.0

Well, the actual breakup?

0:41.8

Well, I remember that like it was yesterday.

0:44.7

Go.

0:45.6

So, well, it was just kind of taking a step back and looking at everything and you had been accepted and you were going to go to college there.

0:53.2

I was like, there's no way I can get married and, you know, pay for both of us to live off what I had.

0:59.0

Because I didn't know how long was going to take.

1:00.6

I wasn't in a stable place.

1:02.5

And, yeah, I remember thinking to myself because you were getting, you had just gone, I think it was, you were getting ready to start, I think I think summer term so it was like literally a matter

1:12.7

weeks away you're going to be in school literally from summer term to fall term the spring term to the

1:18.0

following summer and you were going to have like a couple weeks the following summer I'm thinking how

1:22.8

is that going to work for a long distance she can't even come over because she used to come over and

1:26.3

stay with me up to for up to like 90 days. And now it's, you know, basically I'd have to be flying over there to see her. And then she's going to be in school. It was like the logistics of that. I was like, that's just not going to work. And I remember calling you and talking on the phone. I remember that my parents' house in their dining room. And I said, I want to see other people.

1:46.2

Did you say that?

1:46.9

I want to see other people.

1:48.1

And I remember you got upset, obviously, and you said, well, give me a chance. And I felt horrible. It was not pleasant. It needs to be done. It needs to be done. It had to be done. and you know because we talked all the time it's like nothing really changed because she would Skype me

2:02.3

a couple times oh quo I got something to tell you. She'd Skype me a couple times a day. And after, you know, three or four weeks, I was like, man, I'm, I still feel like I'm in a relationship with her. And I told her that I need to have some time, just some space where we don't talk because I got to get over this. Because I couldn't concentrate. I was, you know, it was not, it's, I'd never broken up with somebody that the relationship was great. We just got along great. We didn't never argue. We never had a fight. We never yelled at each other, raise her voices that I can even remember. Maybe she's a little grumpy and pissy at different times, but it was like no issue. So it's, you know, breaking up when you're not getting along, that was a new thing for me. And so it's never fun breaking up with somebody, just like it's never fun firing somebody, especially a girl. And, you know, like when I was in real estate, I had a lot of girls that worked for me, and had to do a lot of firing and it's like you get to know people you hang out you hang out socially you get to know their significant other or their boyfriend or whatever and and uh everybody knows we were out real close and then you're having to tell somebody hey you're not going to be a part of what we're doing going forward. And it was always waterworks.
