This is the Tom Hartman program.

It's a prem court. Essentially legalized school prayer.

We'll see where this goes and how broad they try to take it because we're just getting the

ruling. This is Kennedy versus Bremerton's school district and the ruling just came down.

This was a coach, the Kennedy was a coach who was going out on the 50 yard line and praying

with the students from this school and sometimes parents would join him.

Over the course of a year or two or three, it had turned into a really big event and the kids

on the team were complaining or some of the kids on the team were complaining that they felt that

if they didn't show up for the prayer, they would be ostracized.

In other words, there was both peer pressure and coach pressure on them to participate

in a prayer that they really didn't want to have anything to do with.

There's several lower courts said, no, no, there's this wall of separation between church and state

and this school is funded with federal dollars and state dollars, state dollars basically and

therefore you can't do these prayers.

And the Supreme Court said, nope, this is 63 ruling, overturned it, obviously the three were
