Sherry is a comedian and an actress. And you've probably seen her in the very funny movie Joyride from a few years ago,

or the hit show Nobody Wants This, where she plays the podcast agent.

And most recently, Sherry is starring in the very funny drama, Shrinking, where she plays a therapy patient opposite Jessica Williams.

We're going to talk about the kind of crazy parallels between Sherry's real life and the role

she takes on and how one role actually helped her come out. But because I work in radio,

we're also going to talk about how Sherry Cola got her start in radio as well, which I think can only

make you a better actor, a better performer, a better human. But maybe I'm just partial. All right,

So people know you from your comedy work, from your social media presence, from your

working shows like shrinking and nobody wants this. But back in the day, you were one of us.

You did college radio in the trenches. I mean, I did college radio for about three years at Cal State Fullerton. Hell yeah. I was there for about seven years, honestly. Just kind of dragging my feet, taking my time and joining the view. The scenic route. Yeah. My mom's like, what's going on? Don't worry, Mom. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Don't ask questions. I have a vision.

But I kind of just fell in love with it because at the time, I wanted to do everything.
