to your pod. If anyone doesn't know, the Deeter and Hutch podcast, I know that you were dealing

with some bedbugs at one point. You've overcome a lot to be here today. I mean, no one has ever said that this game was easy, but I just make it look easy, you know?

A lot to break down on today's show. The 49ers had a joint practice with the Broncos yesterday.

And by all accounts, except other than David Lombardi, they kind of got their ass kicked.

That's part for the course there. Listen, you know, the guy was a swimmer. I mean, he knows how to carry water. It's okay. Nicely done. Not shocking to me, really. Like, I, maybe I'm looking at this through rose-colored glasses, but, like, you know, there had been so many good reports about the 49ers practices and everybody looks good.

And I think it was kind of a reality check for them to be like, actually, you know, you're not as good as you think. And the Broncos have a very good team and a very good defense.

Well, I think that you can, you don't have to go in on anyone who said that the 49ers look good in practice, because they have.

I've been out there enough.

They've looked good at practice.

That doesn't mean that they are good.

Like there is a difference between the team looking good in practice when it plays itself, and then the team playing football against

other teams. This is a talent issue for the 49ers. And it doesn't surprise me at all that the Denver

Broncos, who it sounds like it was just Sands, Drey Greenlaw, like that they were way ahead of

them when it came to their defense versus the 49ers offense.

Like that doesn't shock me in the least bit.

It doesn't shock me in the least bit that the 49ers defense didn't exactly impress

because I'm looking at this team right now and you're asking a lot of young players,

a lot of first year players with this team to step in and take starting roles.

But even more so than that, Rob, like they're just injured to high heaven. A lot of first year players with this team to step in and take starting roles.
