I want to start with a statistic from the CDC, and this is from 2020.

It says 41.9% of adults meet the criteria for obesity, 19.7% of children meet the criteria

for obesity, and 12.7% of two to five-year-olds meet the criteria for obesity.

Now, I just wanted to start this off because you've written food politics, soda politics,

Tell me with all of this information out there, how is it possible that we're going backwards

The statistic that I like the best that I think is most shocking is that 74% of American

adults are overweight by CDC standards, 40% meet criteria for obesity, but 75% of Americans

are overweight.

That's a majority, a big majority, and it means that overweight has become normal in
