All right, Jake, a lot happening in Punchable News a.m. this morning, teeing up a very busy week

on Capitol Hill. Let's go to the number one item this morning, leading the top of focus on Pete Hegseth

Trump's nominee to run the Defense Department and Democrats gearing up today to try to

shatter the notion that Hegseth's confirmation is all but inevitable to accomplish this.

The panel's Democrats plan to rely primarily on the seven women on their side of the dais to advance their central argument against Hegseh, that he's unfit for this prestigious post.

Yeah, I think Hegsth, to be clear, our reporting, Andrew's reporting, my reporting,

Bres is reporting, Max's reporting does indicate that Hegseth is going to get confirmed.

He will get confirmed, most likely, with a party line vote in the Senate Armed Services

Committee.

He might get a Democrat on the floor.

You might see a John Federman vote for him.

We don't know yet.
