As we get into 2024 we're going to take a look at some of the key states around the country

we'll check in on places like Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania,

all the the battlegrounds you know, are so important.

And we look at states we think are interesting.

You've heard us talk about how demographic shifts have changed the landscape and that's really particularly true in the West.

Beyond the battlegrounds of Colorado and Nevada, you know, how things changed in places like Oregon even California but

specifically Arizona and all the entire West really is it's just been

phenomenal change our guest today my friend Mark Z. Bearbeck, one of the

great. I mean, just I've always thought one of the sharpest political minds who

covers this stuff and knows it in a way that I think you know

offers a unique insight these things that a lot of other people don't. Anyway he

just finished a really cool series in the LA Times looking at how things have changed in the

Western states and I thought it would be a great place to start our look at
