Hello, it's 1,070 days since Russia began its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Donald Trump is now just over a week into his second presidential term,

and quite a lot has come out of the US regarding Ukraine since our last edition.

That's correct. Donald Trump has taken to Truth Social, the Social Network, to essentially tell

Vladimir Putin stop this ridiculous war, that's a quote, that's the word that he used,

or I will have to impose taxes, tariffs and sanctions on anything being sold by Russia to the United

States and various other participating countries. How did Vladimir Putin respond? A couple

days later, I was interviewed by state television and he called Donald Trump smart and he said that they've, the two of them have

had business-like and pragmatic relations. So he said he's ready to talk to the United States,

but that's what he's been saying for months and months and months. And today we are going to

talk to a man who's work for Donald Trump

and is very close to his presidential envoy

to Ukraine in Russia.

And that man's name is Fred Flights.

We freeze a conflict where it is

and we have a discussion on a long-term solution.

And realistically, I don't think we'll have that long-term solution

while Putin is in office.

But we can at least

stop killing.
