I'm Jeff Kinley along with my buddy Todd Hampson,

and we're here for another episode with you

to talk about Bible prophecy.

And one of the biggest questions that we get,

in fact, we get this question all the time,

is on radio, on TV, on emails, and conferences.

How close are we? How close are we? Now, listen, we believe that we're

close. I think sometimes, though, we ask that question because we have this deep-seated desire

to take a little pen and put it on our calendar so that we can know exactly when Jesus is coming

back. How close are we? And I had a

dear woman asked me the other day, Jeff, do you think it's going to be within the next five years?

How in the world can we last another five years of all this going on in the world? My answer to that is,

I don't know, because I don't know God's timetable. but I do know that God has set a time and that only

he knows and that no person, I don't care how many friends they have on Instagram or YouTube

or how popular or what a celebrity they are or what a great bestselling author they might be,

that no one knows the exact timing of the rapture.

Now, a lot of people, though, will try to say, well, I've got scripture for that.

Okay, what's your scripture?

And so one of the scriptures, Todd, that people go to is in 2nd Peter, I believe it's

chapter 3, and there's a passage there that some people believe there've been some

viral videos made about this, that they believe they can pinpoint the year of Christ's return.
