If you could start just by walking us a little bit through your career,

how did you end up as a visiting fellow over at Heritage focusing on these issues?

Yeah, thanks for asking.

Up until about a year ago, I was actually in China.

I was working as a political risk analyst.

I was a sort of less known area of business consulting, so informing businesses about how the political situation in China affects their profits and their operations.

And so I was doing that, but all we sort of felt like I could be doing more.

I mean, it's really important to work for businesses to help them be able to provide for their employees, of course.

But I was never driven so much by profit so much as I was, you know, wanting to use the expertise I've developed to make a bigger difference on policy.
