Leanne, one thing that really jumped out to us in the last few days was this article in the New York Times titled,

Trump's oil grab in Venezuela shatters an American taboo. U.S. presidents have long been accused of

plotting to control foreign oil, but President Trump has asserted a U.S. right to take it. Now, this article

jumped out because I was thinking, well, to me at least, taboo? I mean, what was the war in Iraq?

Failure in Iraq would allow terrorists to operate from a safe haven with access to the world's

third largest oil reserves. I mean, Iraq had the second largest oil reserves in the Middle East.

What was the 2011 war against Libya that deposed the Gaddafi government?

Oil prices are back in the spotlight as it appears Omar Gaddafi's long rain is

nearing an end. This would pave the way for Libyan oil to start flowing again. Wikileaks,

you know, had revealed documents from the U.S. Embassy in Tripoli back to the State Department

accusing Gaddafi of resource nationalism. That would mean Libyans controlling their

own oil. That was back two years before the U.S. bombing destroyed the Libyan government.
