Three minutes after 10 is the time. A very good morning indeed to you.

This is weird, right? How many times have we talked about the pixelated screen?

You stand there and you don't realize that you're so close to it. You can't actually make out the proper images on it.

You're just looking at the pixels. We're about today to hear, and it's going to happen at about half past 11, I'm told. So unfortunately, that means there will be no mystery hour today. If you'd like to air your grievances, please take it up with the government, take it up with the Chancellor of the Exchequer, himself, or indeed the prime minister.

And we'll take it in its entirety.

It's going to be just shy of an hour.

But it seems fairly clear that it's going to include approximately 24 billion pounds of what could be loosely described as tax rises and about 30 billion quid of spending cuts.

This is in a country which, of course, is still reeling from the impact of so-called austerity, political ideology built upon the

idea that you need to keep rich and you need to help rich people get even richer while closing

libraries and similar in places like Wolverhampton. That's a sort of a bad interpretation of an Alexi sale joke.

So incredible, really, when you think about it.

It's three months since they announced plans to cut taxes by about 50 billion quid.

And it's the same party.

I don't quite know why this has hit me with such momentum this morning.

I mean, I knew it all along.

It was a tweet actually by the Labour MP and sort of tireless speaker of truth to power.

Chris Bryant, who simply pointed out that in the

three months, Tory MPs will have gone from cheering an essential 50 billion pound tax cuts package

to cheering an equally essential 60 billion pound package of tax rises and spending cuts.

He adds, no wonder voters don't trust them, they couldn't navigate a Tesco trolley down the vegetable aisle.

It's incredible, right?
