Wow, a lot of news going on here today.

President Biden just gave a speech in which he said that he's releasing a million barrels a day

of oil from the National Strategic Retroleum Reserve in answer to questions afterwards.

He said he thought that that would probably lower prices between 10 and 35 cents a gallon for gasoline.

You know, how quickly that'll happen is a function of, you know,

things moving through the supply chain and all that kind of stuff.

And he pointed out that what we need to do is lower the demand for energy,

and we do that by insulating our houses and using more efficient appliances and things like that.

And lower the demand and raise the supply of energy.

And we do that by bringing online solar wind, you know,

the inexpensive forms of energy that have been proven have been demonstrated to be,

you know, very, very successful.

So one dimension of the gas prices is this larger issue of inflation

that has Americans pretty legitimately freaked out.
