Liz, welcome to the program. Hi, Dr. Laura. Thank you for taking my call. Thank you. I'm calling because I have a relationship with my sister that I wish was different.

And the situation is she's 10 years older than me.

We live in the same town.

We're raising our kids together.

She is very emotionally reactive.

She confronts everything.

And she doesn't very much go.

And I find in relation, in hanging out with her or being with her, that I'm kind of on

And when she confronts me and I, if I ever try to respond it never goes well I've never heard

and it's fine most of the time if I let things go but there's a lot of family drama that she sucks

me into that I don't really want to always be part of et cetera so I feel I feel as though she's a strong personality, and I have spent my life navigating that,

trying to steer clear of it or placate.

And I would love to hear some advice on how to better confront someone who doesn't take

I don't bother to confront people who don't deal with a conversation over uncomfortable things.

And I also minimize contact.

Don't have to eliminate it, and sometimes you can't, like if it's a family member,

but I sure minimize it so that I don't have to put myself through the stress.
