Kamala Harris has released tax proposals for if she were elected president, including increased taxes on the very wealthiest.

Meanwhile, Trump's infamous 2017 tax cuts benefited mainly the very wealthy and are set to expire in 2025.

What kind of tax shifts would be necessary to truly take care of people's needs here in the United States.

So we've started to see some of Kamala Harris' tax proposals, which look very, very similar to Joe Biden. She's essentially

said that she would take his 2025 proposed budget as her plans. And yet, you know, there's

some changes in there that even the Wall Street Journal is heralding as quote-unquote novel.

One thing she has talked about, she would increase the top tax rate for the wealthy on their upper income.

They would pay, I know this can get complicated sounding very fast, but to try to make this simple and clear,

people who are wealthy would pay the same rate as the rest of us for most of their income,

but her plan would raise the tax for the very top of their income.
