It took until 15 minutes before my warm up to finally get over the nerves.

I get out of the bus at the state meet and being at the course, you get like the pre-race nerves even more.

And I started like dry heaving a little bit and I was like, oh no, this is not good.

And so my mind started racing me even more, but then I just, I went for a half mile to just like clear my mind and help me like loosen up. And then I talked to my coach a little

bit. He's like, you can have a good day, a great day or the best day. And no matter what day you

have, you'll be successful. So I just kind of thought about that. And that helped me lock in for the race.

awesome fashion. And he's going into Foot Locker Midwest next week with all of the momentum.
