Okay? And when your time and the military ends, it's really difficult to pick up up with your friends and family.

You may feel like a stranger in your own home, in your own body, and in your mind.

People just don't understand what you've been through.

I mean, how could they?

And then you bottle it up, you take it in.

You keep pushing all those memories off to the side.

Like, maybe it's just

going to go away. Well, this takes a profound toll on your mental and physical health, and of course,

the people around you, they're affected in so many different ways. It's been estimated that up to

20% of veterans who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom experienced PTSD.

Of course, that's post-traumatic stress disorder.
