Summary

In this episode of The Jordan Syatt Mini-Podcast, I answer questions from the listeners with my trusty podcast producer, Tony. We have a long conversation about alcohol, including comparing alcohol to sugar intake, how alcohol impacts weight loss, centenarians and alcohol use, and more. I also talk about Harry Potter, greasing the groove, blood glucose levels, Cobra Kai, the "dawn phenomenon" and flipping my sleep schedule to early mornings. Do you have a question or episode idea that you want us to discuss on the podcast? Send them to Tony: www.instagram.com/tone_reverie/I hope you enjoy this episode and, if you do, please leave a review on iTunes or Spotify (huge thank you to everyone who has written one so far). I'm good, I'm good. You got an early morning today, didn't you? I was going to say, can

0:13.8

you hear the difference in my voice because I'm a morning person now. Yeah, just like

0:22.5

that. I am, I'm a morning person. I went from a night person, someone who stays up late

0:29.6

and just, you know, chills at late at night to, dude, I'm in bed by like 839. And I flipped

0:35.6

this on a dime, just like out of nowhere, 839 in bed up at 530. This just happened like

0:43.2

a week and a half ago. And my wife laughs, she's like, this is like the most you thing ever.

0:50.5

It's like, when you just randomly decide that that's what you're going to do, it's just

0:54.8

like, I'd just do that. It's like the most cliche me thing. It's like, all right, like

0:59.3

now I'm a morning person as simple as that, huh? As simple as that. So take me to the first

1:05.4

morning when your alarm clock goes off at what time now? So I brought it down. The first

1:10.9

morning is at six. Then it went to 545. Then it went to 530. And now it's at 520. Okay.

1:18.2

So you gave yourself sort of a few days to. Yeah. Yeah. It wasn't like, it wasn't super

1:24.7

gradual. It wasn't like one week at six. Then one week at 545. It was like, literally

1:29.3

like first days at six, next days at 545, next days at 530, next days at 520. And that's

1:34.5

where I am right now. Was the first day harder than the fourth day? I would say the fourth

1:40.8

day was the hardest day. The first day, there was like, when I was almost anticipating

1:46.8

it as soon as I woke up, like I was like, there's a little bit of adrenaline. Oh, dude,

1:50.9

I know what I was excited. I was excited. I had told Instagram. I was like, this is what

1:55.4

I'm going to do. So there was the expectation of me doing it. I didn't want to let people

1:59.8

down. I didn't want to people be like, Oh, I like, I didn't want people to use it as

2:04.4

a justification for them not doing it. And as soon as I got up, people were like, Oh,

2:09.0

man, I was waiting for this. I'm lying in bed now. Now I've got to get up, which was
