Okay, so by request, we're going to go a little deeper into the great Airbnb debacle that was the wedding.

We always have an odd one in the crowd, so it's kind of odd.

I decidedly odd.

No, it doesn't strike me as a little bit odd.

It's the Bob and Sherry Oddcast with stuff we wouldn't, couldn't, or shouldn't do on the regular show.

Y'all, I'm not even sure where to begin.

Our son got married on commencement weekend in the Raleigh-Durham area, seven universities minimum graduating. And so they got engaged

in August. They set their wedding date for commencement weekend and nobody bothered to get a

block of hotel rooms. Now, I'm going to, I'm going to demand a pass on my responsibility for that

since, you know, technically I'm

not the mother of the bride on this one. And this was a more traditional kind of setup where,

you know, it really seemed like the bride's family was going to want to run this show. And so

there was no block of hotel rooms. And I realized that in January,

when I pulled up Verbo and hotels and Airbnb and started looking for a place to stay,

there were 12 of us with a couple of dogs. And we have an elderly relative who needs, you know,

some extra care and attention and all of that. And so the decision was

made that we would rent a house. And so I rent this Airbnb. It's an unusual Airbnb because it's

basically, it's a house with six separate units under the roof. So you could rent all six bedrooms complete with three different kitchen
