Welcome to another episode of the AI Truth Ethics podcast and the Skeptico podcast.

You know, the last show I had, I think it was with Christoph Koch, and I said, he's a famous neuroscientist, and I said, hey, this is probably more tailored towards the skeptical audience, but people who are in AI truth ethics really ought to pay attention to this guy and to what neuroscience is saying about

consciousness. And I almost feel like this is kind of a flip case. You know, you might listen to Dan

Turchin, who is an AI entrepreneur and kind of frontline soldier on AI development, and you might go,

okay, this is all about AI. I don't think so. I think this is about as

skeptico as you can get in terms of what Dan is leading us towards in the application of

AI, in terms of who we are, in terms of these big picture questions, who am I? Why am I here?

Where am I going kind of thing. I think it's relevant.

It's so many interesting ways. It is really the marriage that I saw all along between AI

truth ethics and the big picture questions of skeptica regarding science and spirituality.

So I certainly hope it seems relevant to you in that way.

Let's get on to it by talking about being the best human you can be.

But eventually, you'd realize that she's the best human being in the world.
