The fact that this special election has become the center of the political universe,

it's really a testament to the excitement Democrats feel

after sweeping key races in New Jersey and Virginia last month

and Republicans growing concerns about the president's unpopularity

and facing backlash in the midterms next year.

They are describing a special congressional runoff race

in Tennessee, specifically the Nashville area,

in which the Republican ought to win it going away, but there's great excitement around this chick.

She's been called the AOC of Tennessee for her left-wing views and antics.

Her name is Afton. How perfect is that?

Afton Ben.

And she ought to be the ideal Democrat for Republicans in a red state to face.
