On Friday’s episode of Facts Matter, we went through and detailed how Republicans in Nebraska are currently in the process of trying to change their state’s Electoral College system into a winner-take-all system. And according to some estimates, this could be the deciding factor in determining whether or not President Joe Biden wins the White House. Pundits on MSNBC spent quite a lot of air time decrying this as an attack on the sanctity of the vote. However, interestingly, there is something that they chose to not devote so much air time to: right ahead of the midterms, the U.S. Census Bureau came out with a report, admitting that during the most recent Census, they miscounted the populations in 14 different states. Notably, they undercounted the populations in six states while simultaneously overcounting the populations in eight states.
