of mine uh he works for NFL network NFL dot com does a fantastic job he was on my radio show on fr, as a matter of fact, and we were talking about trades, and, well, there was a bunch of trades that happened on Monday or a couple trades that happened on Monday that are pretty significant that we'll talk about here on today's show. But we got into a conversation about quarterbacks, and I asked him about Aiden O'Connell. I want you to hear his thoughts and his idea of what the Raiders should do with their backup quarterback situation. We'll do that. Segment number two. Here's segment number one, news and notes of the day. We'll go ahead and jump right into it and off top before we get into any of the big news. I did want to pass along, Taryn Johnson, the corner that the Raiders traded with the Buffalo Bills for, who hadn't been at OTAs. He was out there looking to get a little bit more guaranteed money. There was conversations about his contract. I don't know what's going to end up happening with that contract. But what I do know is he was at OTAs on Monday. So the Raiders, they routinely take pictures. A lot of pictures of different guys that are out there participating. and one of the pictures or multiple pictures was a Taryn Johnson being out there. So I know a lot of people were concerned because he wasn't there. A lot of people just said, all right, we'll just throw trading Stoaks in there. Get to move on from Johnson. Well, Johnson was out there. We've talked about it before. He's got two years left on his deal. Just doesn't have very much guaranteed money at all. So I had no doubt that he was at some point going to show up, and he did show up. And again, remember, OTAs are voluntary. With that being said, Nogobi Dean, that's a guy that a lot of people have been talking about, the linebacker that the Raiders picked up in free agency from Philadelphia. You know, he also has not been out there at practice, but he was at the Silver and Black Gala. My guy, Kirk Morrison, actually talked to him there. So he's been around. Has he been in OTAs? Has he been pictured? No, not yet, but nothing to be concerned about, like Kirk said on my radio show on Monday. Until mandatory minicamp, if he doesn't show up then, then there's something to be concerned about.

But right now, not a big deal.

3:27.1

Vinnie Bonsignor pointed out on Twitter on Monday.

3:30.2

You know, him not being there at practice, not a big deal, nothing to be concerned about.

3:34.3

So just kind of rest easy that, you know, one, Taryn Johnson was at practice and

3:39.8

Kobe Dean, not a big deal at this stage of the game.

3:43.4

Now, some of the moves that happened on Monday and across the National Football League,

3:47.3

the big blockbuster was Miles Garrett being traded from the Browns to the Rams.
