So the Apostle Paul gives us a great example of life, man, we should live this kind of life.

Have you ever tried to do something for the Lord and the door doesn't open?

It just doesn't seem to open.

Well, Paul in Acts chapter 16

had gone through in verse 6.

He went through the region of Galatia, but was forbidden by the Holy Spirit

to preach the word in Asia Minor. Now, this is a Roman province of Asia, not Asia like in China.

But the point is that the Holy Spirit forbade them. Now, I thought that God wants you to go into all the world and preach the gospel.

Well, this tells you that God wants you to go into all the world, and then he leads you

into what part of the world you go into.

Holy Spirit forbade, resisted them.

And after they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the spirit

did not permit them. It doesn't say how the spirit didn't permit them. The boat they were supposed

to get on and left the dock without them. They couldn't get tickets. They, you know, somehow they

saw the providence of God or the hand of God or the stop of God.

It doesn't say how.

It just says that the Holy Spirit forbade them to go in one place and didn't permit them to go to another.

Well, you know, some people get so discouraged.

They're just trying to serve the Lord and you know
