Welcome to another episode of Flight Workers' Lounge.

It's your host, your astrologer, and your friend Stephanie Powers,

and I am coming at you live from Southern Indiana,

from a little town right outside of the big city of Enville where I am yes visiting family just like I did last summer and it feels oh so good it's quite bizarre you know the

evolution of my relationship to home you guys know if you've been listening for a long time.

I was born and partially raised here in Evansville, Indiana.

My parents split up.

My mom kind of divorced the family, and we moved to New Hampshire with a guy she met here

who was just on a work assignment in Indiana. Lord knows what he was doing

here, but he was from Massachusetts originally. So he touted the idea, how about you and your kids,

move up there and be with me. And my mom, the adventurous Aquarius, she is, was like, fuck yeah,

like get me out of this tiny Midwest town. I want to go see what else is out

there. And well, it's probably a better life for my kiddos. I mean, when you grow up in the

Midwest where it's just rolling fields of nothing, moving somewhere like the Pacific Northwest or New

England, the East Coast is just candy land. You are an awe of how green and beautiful and wild and natural it is.

So of course, we jumped at the opportunity. So I was raised from about seven, eight years old on

in New Hampshire, which, as you know, I have been like, no, thank you. I never want to be there.

And now that I'm older and mature, and now that my mom doesn't live there anymore,

and I have no connections to New England, I'm like, wait, wait, I'm proud being right there.

Wait, wait, I like that place.
