Summary

Deck of Cards:  Travel can wreck the best intentions for fitness goals. Whether it is a vacation, a business trip, a fishing tournament or an adventure to a primitive location, having an irregular schedule and no access to a gym can cause some to really go off the rails.  I was certainly having these same problems as I was traveling for Redfish Tournaments many years ago and it really caused me a lot of frustration as the progress I had made would slip away every time I traveled.

for my job and sometimes that traveling takes me to a place where there's a gym

close by sometimes there's one in the hotel oftentimes there's not I have found

that I can't rely on that I have to come up with my own way of staying in shape on the road and about

20 years ago I came up with something that that I do every time I go anywhere

and it keeps me in shape. You know, staying in shape or

getting in shape both require consistency and here's what I see a lot of times. I see people making huge progress towards their fitness

goals, whether that is getting back into shape or, you know, making gains towards a goal that they want and they're at home and they have a perfect routine

they maybe they have a personal trainer maybe they're going to a gym maybe they have a group of people that they work out with,

and you know, they're doing great.

They're going five days a week, their diet's on point, they're going to bed on time, they're

drinking plenty of water, Everything's on point.
